Chenbro (TWSE:8210) held a land signing ceremony on October 30 for its new factory in Malaysia. The ceremony took place at Senai Airport City, Johor, Malaysia, where Maggi Chen, chairman of Chenbro, and Tan Sri Che Khalib, Chairman of Senai Airport City Sdn. Bhd., completing the contract signing. This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter in Chenbro's global manufacturing strategy. Chenbro has purchased 656,000 sq ft of land from Senai Airport City for approximately 49 million Malaysian Ringgit, with construction set to begin soon and trial production expected in the first half of 2026. In response to shifting geopolitical risks and strong end-market demand, Chenbro emphasized the need for a diversified, global production network to enhance manufacturing flexibility and competitiveness. Recognizing Malaysia’s advantages as a data center hub in Southeast Asia, Chenbro anticipates the new factory will play a key role in advancing its global localization strategy.
