CHENBRO Introduces Trendy Designs of Computer/Server Chassis

The leading computer/server chassis maker, CHENBRO MICOM CO. LTD. is ready to introduce their new designs of computer/server chassis at this year’s COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2010. As a professional chassis designer and manufacturer with a wealth of industry experiences, CHENBRO’s personal computer chassis, pedestal server chassis and rack-mount chassis series displayed at the show are expected to attract many buyers’ attention.

PC Chassis: All-in-One Concept with Fancy Designs

Under the influence of eco-awareness and downsizing trends, personal computers continue to reduce in size and power consumption; therefore, compact yet full-featured all-in-one personal computers begin to emerge. To this, CHENBRO introduces the PC101 all-in-one concept chassis. When fitted with an industry-standard VESA 17"–22" display, PC101 becomes an elegant all-in-one personal computer, allowing the display to move upward and downward, tilting 15 degrees up and 5 degrees down, and rotating 60 degrees to both left and right. This chassis is compatible with Micro-ATX (9.6” x 9.6”) motherboards and offers room for one optical drive, one card reader, one 3.5” internal hard drive, and an 85 Plus-compliant 300W power supply unit. This chassis has been greatly welcomed by government and educational markets around the world.

For tech-savvy users, CHENBRO introduces a race-car-like chassis, which models the contour of a future race car. The front bezel resembles a flip-out door and offers excellent ventilation. This chassis allows up to eleven 3.5” internal hard drives to be installed—virtually as capable as an entry-level server.

Pedestal Server Chassis: Ideal Choice for SOHO NAS Applications

CHENBRO also highlights the advanced NAS model--ES34169. This chassis is compatible with Mini-ITX (6.7” x 6.7”) motherboards and has room for up to four 3.5” hot-swap hard drives, one 2.5” internal hard drive, and one slim optical drive.

The ES34169 is the most ideal choice to use in small-and-medium business environments, especially for SOHO customers. SOHO customers, normally consisting of below 10 employees, often co-work with others and need an appropriate NAS to share resource and archive projects. ES34169 provides high storage capacity and RAID functions, and also equips with standard components to allow them to easily connect other IT equipments. ES34169 can provide the best C/P (Capability/Price) value to these SOHO customers.

Rack-mount Chassis: Green and Modular Design

In line with green and modular design trends in the development of rack-mount servers, CHENBRO announces several new rack-mount chassis including a dual-system server, a mobile 3U server, a modular 4U 2.5”/3.5” server, along with replaceable front bezels. The dual-system chassis RM13304/13308 is 1U in dimension and accommodates up to four 3.5” or eight 2.5” hot-swap hard drives. The 3U RM31508 shallow chassis is only 17.5” deep but can accommodate the Extended ATX (12” x 13”) motherboard and houses up to eight 3.5” hot-swap hard drives. This chassis can be used on a rack or as a tower solution, perfect for non-rack-mount environments with a special need for mobility.
